viable alternative for Asian lubricant manufacturers. They are

Technically viable
Compared to Group I, Chevron Group II offers significantly
higher performance. Compared to Group III, Chevron Group
II base oil offers no loss in performance for many important
applications.

with Gp II base stocks for their North American vehicles.
