Chevron works in all segments of the downstream industry – manufacturing, marketing and transportation.
The company's refining resources are concentrated in North America, Western Europe, South Africa and the Asia-Pacific rim. Our fuel refineries and an asphalt refinery are strategically located to serve customers around the world. This refining system can process more than 2 million barrels of crude oil per day.
Chevron markets refined products and lubricants primarily under three brands: Chevron, Texaco and Caltex. Our retail products are available on six continents. Our service stations are on the West Coast of North America, the U.S. Gulf Coast, Latin America, Asia, sub-Saharan Africa and the United Kingdom.
Chevron's lubricants business provides products and solutions to commercial, industrial and retail customers. Our Supply and Trading organization plays a critical role for the company by trading and marketing crude oil and refined products.
Transporting petroleum products is the business of the Chevron Pipe Line Co., which owns and/or operates an extensive system of pipelines and storage facilities in the United States.
In addition, Chevron Shipping Company manages a growing worldwide fleet of vessels that transport our products.
